Requirements
Project requirements and dealer workflow
- Control4 OS 3.3.0 or later is required.
- Control4 OS versions below 3.3.0 are not supported because Sleep / Wake behavior and driver-managed Command lighting scenes require OS 3.3.0 or later.
- Target lighting, shade, motion/occupancy, and optional temperature-related devices should be correctly installed, assigned to proper rooms, and tested manually in Composer before enabling automation.
- Dealers do not need to build repeated Composer automation logic first; the intended workflow is to confirm device operation and room mapping, then use this driver to provide the automation logic.
Boundaries
Residential convenience automation only
The current release uses structured adaptive logic. Future versions may introduce additional AI-assisted features.
This product is designed for residential comfort, convenience, lighting, shade, and energy-saving automation only. It is not a security system, life-safety system, emergency response system, medical monitoring system, elder care system, access-control system, or safety-critical HVAC control.
Do not use this driver as the only basis for any safety-critical action.
The installing dealer remains responsible for correct room names, device names, sensor mapping, device placement, and disabling automation for rooms or devices that are not suitable for automatic control.
DriverCentral trial and licensing
This commercial release uses DriverCentral licensing and supports a 30-day trial where available through DriverCentral. No LivingMind Home authorization code is required.
After installation, dealers should confirm DriverCentral Cloud Status, Security State, Automatic Updates, and AI Service Status in Composer.
